I am not sure what happend to November but we are allready in December and I forgot the Nov News update.
Well changes at the head office shop and distribution centre in Australia....and not by choice...
During November there were major storms in Brisbane, Australia that devistated many areas, unfortunatly Woolworth Market Place at Albany Creek lost the roof of the shopping centre.
Ouch....Our Brisbane head office had thousands of dollars worth of teddy bears having swimming lessons....all of which were unable to be sent to new teddy bear homes as the water damage was to extensive.
Well, many hours of work over night and thoughout the next day enabled us to get the shop and the teddy bear hotel wearhouse back into operation, thanks to all the suppliers
who went overboard to get us dry teddy bears. Power was not restored for several days. This has meant we have had delays all around the world getting Bears to thier new homes...we are SOoooooooooo Sorry....
Memory jogger here ---- Teddy Bears dont like learning to swim....
Today we have opened our UK distribution cnentre in Reading England. We can now offer our teddy bear friends to everyone all over the UK.

This esteemed award pays tribute to B-Bears and Gifts that has demonstrated customer service excellence and innovation. The competition is of a very high standard with almost 20,000 votes received from the public.

You may have guessed it but we turned 1 today. Out of an obsession and love for Teddy Bears, Teddies and all things plush Lisa has made B-Bears and Gifts (www.bearsandgifts.com.au) one of the most respected and visited shops and websites in the world.
The Idea 18 months ago was for this little shop to open, and for Lisa to relax with nan playing scrabble in the corner, but no, from the moment we opened the doors things went in leaps (and they were not little leaps they were huge leaps).

RUSS and the International Star Registry have recently partnered to launch a new program called Shining Stars which gives people the opportunity to name their very own star in the sky.
The program includes a quality RUSS plush Shining Stars Friend, identifiable by the crystal-like star icon and embroidered Shining Stars logo on the paw pad and to have your name officially recorded with a star in the sky.

What a great time we had at Hugglets in London. Sooooo many people and sooo many bears. Everyone who came marvelled and took a little friend home to keep. Thanks to all who gave such wonderful feedback. Next year it looks like we'll do all the shows all over agian....

It's been another busy month visiting Teddy Bear shows and the International Teddy Bear Shows all over the place. We have some very excited bears who have been on a teddy bear picnic to Europe.
